【ステートメント】

ランの実践と関心は視覚芸術と映画の間にあります。彼女が取り 組んでいる問題は、社会的分野と親密な分野の両方を探求してい ます。彼女の作品は、想像力と現実、存在と消失、仮想とアナロ グの間の知覚の境界に疑問を投げかけている。彼女は映画を物 語の側面から解放し、各観客が自分の位置と知覚を自由に定義し、 画像が運ぶ物語の閉じ込めから逃れる超現実的なコラージュに変 えようとします。

Biography:

• Born in Kunming, China in 1993
• Completed a Master’s program at Nantes School of Fine Arts in 2022
• Graduated from the French National Contemporary Art Studio Le Fresnoy in 2023

Statement:
Ran’s practice and interests lie between visual art and cinema. She explores issues within both social and intimate realms. Her work questions the boundaries of perception between imagination and reality, existence and disappearance, and the virtual and the analog. She aims to liberate cinema from its narrative aspect, transforming it into a surreal collage where each viewer can freely define their own position and perception, escaping the confinement of the stories conveyed by images.
