陽が沈みきる前に訪れるほんのわずかな瞬間は、一日の終わりを告げるだけでなく、どこか現実と非現実のあいだにあるような、静かな高揚をもたらします。
本展は、メディアを限定せずに表現の拡張を探求し続けるふたりの作家ーー安原千夏と飯島暉子による、フィクションとリアルが混ざり合う感覚と時間の断片をめぐる対話です。
安原はシルクスクリーンと映像を通して、反復とズレを繰り返し、刷りの物質性を用いたイメージの定着と揺らぎを探ります。
飯島は紙という弱々しい素材やインスタレーションを用いて、記憶や風景が内包する感覚の遅延や、余白を空間に配置します。
映像と静止画、複製技術と個人的な記憶、そして時間の中で揺らぐ視覚体験が会場でひとつに混ざり合うように共存します。
両者の表現は、視覚芸術の持つ「時間性」を問いかけ、鑑賞者の知覚をやわらかに刺激します。
Just before the sun fully sets, there is a fleeting moment—not merely marking the end of the day, but evoking a quiet exhilaration, as if suspended between reality and illusion.
This exhibition presents a dialogue between two artists, Chinatsu Yasuhara and Akiko Iijima, who continue to explore the expansion of expression beyond specific media. Through fragments of time and sensation where fiction and reality intermingle, they invite viewers into a shared space of perceptual ambiguity.
Yasuhara works with silkscreen and video, repeating subtle shifts and misalignments to explore the tension between the fixity and fluidity of printed imagery.
Iijima uses fragile materials such as paper and immersive installations to spatialize delayed sensations and the blank spaces inherent in memory and landscape.
Moving images and still frames, methods of reproduction and personal recollections, coexist in the exhibition space, blurring together into a unified yet unstable visual experience.
Their practices gently challenge the temporality of visual art, offering a softened stimulation to the viewer’s perception.
